First Visit
During your first visit in our office, you will receive a comprehensive patient examination; we will then discuss with you in detail the status of your oral health and any necessary treatment that we may recommend. As part of this visit, an oral cancer screening will be included. While this procedures takes a couple of minutes, it has been instrumental in the early diagnosis of cancer in more than one patient case. It is part of our approach to comprehensive care of our patients.
Also, if there are any treatment recommendations, they will be explained thoroughly and subsequent appointments will be coordinated as needed.
It is generally very helpful to our mutual goal of providing you the optimum care in the shortest possible time if you help us with the following:
- Please bring any x-rays available from a previous dentist if you can
- Please be sure to bring your dental insurance information so that we can provide you accurate estimates of the cost associated with your treatment
- We are a completely paperless office and maintain secure computerized records. You can either fill out our forms in our office or you canpre-registerat your convenience with our secure partner provider.
PLEASE NOTE: Our ultimate goal is your care. While we do everything in our power to get to know you and your medical status, nothing can replace your own account of existing conditions (e.g. diabetes, high blood pressure, any prior heart surgeries, etc.) as well as any medications you may be taking. Please be as thorough as you can be in filling our Health History and letting us know of any additional information during your first visit.
Minor patients are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
